Everything you want to know about Wolt!

Wolt is a Finnish startup founded in 2014 in Helsinki. Since 2016 you could also enjoy our services in Sweden, where Stockholm was the first city launched.

Wolt is operational in 18 Swedish cities, which are: Stockholm, Örebro, Västerås, Göteborg, Norrköping, Linköping, Gävle, Eskilstuna, Sundsvall, Karlstad, Borås, Umeå, Uppsala, Växjö, Lund, Helsingborg, Malmö and Halmstad! We exist in 26 countries all over the world, ranging from Tokyo to Reykjavik!

Of course we can! You can use our map pin function and place a pin to where you are on the map. This works as long as it is within our delivery area. Here's how to do it:

• When checking out, click on the adress field and click on "choose another address"

• Press "Add new address" and select "choose location on map instead"

• Drag your pin to where you want to get your order!

It's important to make sure that both your delivery address and your delivery instructions are updated so your order doesn't get lost or misplaced. It helps our courier partners find the right way! Update your delivery adress easily by:

• Going to your profile

• Select “My addresses”

• Select the address you want the food delivered to

• Write clear notes to the courier partner under the "Delivery instructions" field

• Make sure that the notes are valid for the selected address.

You can save multiple addresses and give them different labels, for example "Home", "Office" or "Grandma's". Just remember that each address needs it's own specific delivery instructions.

Of course! Just make sure to choose "contactless delivery" before confirming your order. You'll be notified in the order tracking when your order has been delivered and left outside your door.

The easiest way to reach the store or restaurant you're ordering from is to leave a comment in the order when you check out. The staff managing your order will see the comment and can take it into account. If you already made your order and realised afterwards that you want to add a comment, you can call the restaurant/shop in question and state the order and name that you'd like to change. You will find telephone numbers underneath the tab "more information" in the restaurant description within the app.

If you're curious on where your order or courier partner is, you can open the order tracking in the app and see where the courier partner is on the map. Follow your order's journey and get updates on what's happening in real time, every step on the way! 

A service fee on 9 SEK is mandatory for all purchases. The revenue helps us provide all our customers with a better order and delivery experience by covering a portion of the operational costs within the area where you order. If you have more questions about our service fees you are very welcome to contact us! 

The minimum order value to order is 120 SEK, excluding the delivery fee. You can of course still order for less than that, but then you'll have to pay the difference.

The base delivery fee starts at 9 SEK and increases with 10 SEK depending on the distance and how far it is for the courier partner to deliver to you. Our delivery price ladder looks like this: 

0-500 meters: 9 SEK

500-1000 meters: 19 SEK

1000-1500 meters: 29 SEK

1500-2000 meters: 39 SEK

With every 500 m interval the price increases with 10 SEK.
