Easy Everyday Recipe: One-Pot Chorizo Gnocchi

  • 500g of potato gnocchi
  • 1 packet of chorizo sausage
  • 1 jar of tomato-based pasta sauce with chilli
  • 1 packet of mozzarella cheese
  • 100ml of water
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Cooking oil
  • Garlic bread

Preparation

Time: 20 minutes

  1. Start by chopping the sausages into bite-sized pieces, then sauté them in a splash of oil. Add the potato gnocchi straight from the packet and cook for one-minute.

  2. Pour in the pasta sauce. Swirl the sauce jar with water to get all the excess sauce. Tear fresh basil into the mix and top it off with shredded mozzarella.

  3. Melt the cheese under the lid, or crisp it in the oven at 200 degrees for 15 minutes. Serve immediately and enjoy with a side of garlic bread.
